Tuesday Aug 28, 2012- (I) is for Icon. We plan to display and give credit to different pictures and artwork that we feel is icon to Michael Jackson. Wednesday Aug 29, 2012- (C) is for Caring. We plan to help highlight once again those special things that were near and dear to Michael Jackson's heart. (Part 1) *In 1984, Michael Jackson was inspired by the story of Ryan White, an Indiana teenager who’d contracted AIDS from a contaminated blood treatment. Ryan White was expelled from school because the school believed at that time the disease could be transmitted through casual contact. His family sued and the publicity caught the attention of Michael Jackson and many other celebrities. Ryan passed away in 1990 and Michael dedicated the song “Gone Too Soon” to Ryan from his “Dangerous” album. Michael Jackson performed the song in front of President Bill Clinton at his Inaugural Gala, and he asked the new president to commit the resource necessary to eliminate the spread of HIV/AIDS. *For many of us Michael Jackson is "Gone Too Soon". We remember him today on his special day. *Happy Birthday Michael Jackson!! We Miss You!! Jackson. The owner of We Love 3T, 85 A.B., S.D.J. Fans Unite and The Official Prince Parker Fans will open up to millions and millions of fans and share her favorite memories of Michael Jackson. *I can think of some wonderful childhood memories of being a fan of Michael Jackson. I remember the reruns of the Jackson 5 cartoons and seeing the brothers together on stage for Motown 25. I remember seeing Michael Jackson moonwalk across the stage, the iconic BAD video and one of my favorite videos is Smooth Criminal. I don’t like needles and when Michael Jackson defeated the bad guy in the Smooth Criminal video/ mini movie he became my hero right then and there. Michael Jackson had dance moves like no other in this video. Another, one of my favorite videos of Michael Jackson would have to be “Remember the Time”. I remember seeing the behind the scenes footage of the video being made, along with the behind the scenes footage of the video “Thriller”. He was truly a genius in the music industry. I remember reading in the magazines the different humanitarian work that he was greatly a part of and I remember seeing him attending Ryan White’s funeral. Ryan White was expelled from school because the school believed at that time that AIDS could be transmitted through casual contact. His family sued and the publicity caught the attention of Michael Jackson and many other celebrities. Ryan passed away in 1990 and Michael Jackson dedicated the song “Gone Too Soon”to Ryan from his “Dangerous” album. The only true problem I had with those magazines at the time was they were all the same. They claim to be in support of Michael Jackson but, clearly had no intention of letting the world truly know the good he was doing. The news articles about his good were small and in odd places on pages that if you were not careful you would have missed reading. Calling him all kinds of mean and hateful names seem to be more enjoyable and interesting to some people, rather than the work he was doing, in and around his community and overseas. I think Michael Jackson should be remembered for a lot of things. He continued to challenge us as fans and the world musically on all levels. His environmental work efforts, with the Heal the World Foundation and the “We Are the World” famine support; along with many, many others to name a few are reasons he should also be remembered. Most of all Michael Jackson was human, not God, he was a person who truly cared about people and the planet. He had a good heart and soul that often times was misunderstood or people continued to look for underline reason for the things that he did. I am sure many of you as fans like me can think of many different kinds of reasons Michael Jackson should be remembered. Though he is no longer here in body, he is here in spirit and I hope that We Love 3T will continue to be a bright light in the Jackson family fan community. Please continue to help us remember a man, artist, musician, entertainer, humanitarian, legend, Michael Jackson. help highlight once again those special things that were near and dear to Michael Jackson's heart. (Part 3) Michael Jackson created the “Heal the World Foundation in 1992 to fight global poverty, educate everyone on the importance of the planet, drug and alcohol abuse, the exploitation and abuse of children. During that time the “Heal the World Foundation” helped to open up the amusement park for children that Michael Jackson was well known for the rides, the petting zoo, and the movie theatre at Neverland Ranch for unprivileged children, to spend time at Neverland and take their minds off of their illness for one day. On January 31, 1993 Michael Jackson performed at Super Bowl XXVII at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena California instead of payment the “National Football League” (NFL) donated $100,000 and 30-second advertising slot to the “Heal the World Foundation”. During Michael Jackson's “BAD” tour, he donated a block of tickets, a percentage of his earnings, to local children’s hospitals and charities through the “Heal the World Foundation”. Like several other tours before including the Victory Tour with his brothers. Michael Jackson’s children Prince Jackson, Paris Jackson, Blanket Jackson and his mother Mrs. Katherine Jackson have recently given help to unprivileged children through the “Heal the World Foundation”. Thursday Aug 30, 2012- (H) is for Helping. We plan to help
highlight once again those special things that were near and dear to Michael Jackson's heart. (Part 2) *Because of drought- inflicted famine in 1985 in Africa, Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie teamed up to write “We Are the World”. Quincy Jones was the producer and over three dozen famous musicians come together including Michael Jackson’s family to record the song and video. “We Are the World” sold 7.4 million copies and was No. 1 on the charts in at least 20 countries and “We Are the World” helps to open doors for musical activism that led to successful live aid concerts. In 2009, Michael Jackson legacy continued when Lionel Richie, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson’s children Prince, Paris, Blanket, his sister Janet Jackson, his nephews 3T (Taj Jackson, Taryll Jackson, TJ Jackson) along with other famous musicians came together again to re-record “We Are the World” to help the country Haiti in their time of their need. *Let us continue to help those in need... *Lend a helping hand to rebuild homes and neighborhoods like “Habitat for Humanity”. Do you feel that these kinds of things should be remembered or forgotten about when talking about Michael Jackson?
Amber: I feel God allows us to endure things for reasons. I think both sides of the stories should be told. Like yes, he was accused but, he was never found guilty in any case and that he rose to the problems and fought back. You can’t change the past but, you can learn from it. I feel that the people who find it necessary to bring up the court cases and trials, must also acknowledge that there are two sides to every story and if you are only interested in one side than why bring it up in the first place. Tiffany from London asked: Do you think with all the different tributes for Michael Jackson that Michael Jackson is truly being honored in the right ways? Amber: I say that anyone who finds it in their heart and wants to honor Michael Jackson, they should. Who am I to judge and tell someone they don’t have the right? I don’t know what God has placed in their hearts. I can only speak for myself and I think it is wonderful that so many want to remember him. Meg from Alabama asked: You are on Facebook and I am sure you have seen people who post these pictures of really abused animals and want to say that if you love Michael Jackson then you will support their cause. Do you think Michael Jackson would want his fans posting these kinds of messages on Facebook? Amber: I cannot speak for Michael Jackson but, I will say this, if I do or if I do not join and support a group of any kind, this does not make me a Michael Jackson fan. No fan should have to show another fan anything. This is bullying and I personally do not want any parts of it. This should not be going on at all. I have seen pictures of abused animals and it can truly make you sick. I understand the message and the need to get the word out to stop the abuse but, I feel it is also abusive to be put people through looking at such horrible pictures. Some people cannot handle looking at pictures like that, and people really need to consider that. We should be united coming together as fans, not battling about who is the better fan no matter the reason or the cause. Cheyenne from Atlanta asked: We Love 3T has been extremely quiet the past couple weeks while the news and media has been focusing on the battle going on in the Jackson family, why have you all decided to remain quiet and not voice your thoughts as well? Amber: As the owner of We Love 3T, I felt that it was my responsibility to make sure that we stay respectful and loyal to the Jackson family. It is not our place to judge or point fingers at anyone. This is not what this site is about. Too many different versions of the story was and is being told and I did not feel comfortable posting information that I felt was a private matter happening in the Jackson family. Ryan from California asked: You and Tommy Parker are extremely close any fan can see that through the Official Prince Parker Fans and Austin Brown has been in huge support of 85 A.B. I love you guys and I am a huge fan of Austin and Tommy, will there be an interview with questions posted by the fans to Austin and Tommy, maybe happening soon? Amber: WOW!! Thank you, we send love back!! I think someone else has asked this question before. I need to speak with Tommy and Austin and see what we can do to make this happen. Hopefully, if time will allow, you all will see an interview with them soon. Thanks :) Sunday Sept 2, 2012- (L) is for L.O.V.E.
Show L.O.V.E. to family and friends today, tomorrow and always. Let the people in your life know you care. Don't put off telling them what they mean to you today because tomorrow maybe too late. |
