Code Z: The Series Celebrates 1st Year Anniversary...
On Aug 29, 2010 The Teaser for Code Z: The Series officially launched. This was a very special day for Taj Jackson because not only was it his Uncle Michael Jackson's birthday but, films and film making was a love they both shared together. Taj had expressed once before on his website that the last time he spoke to his Uncle Michael, films was to be their next adventure together after "This Is It". With Michael suddenly passing away, Taj decided to carry on the love that he and his Uncle had together for films. Taj has allowed fans to see Code Z: The Series unfold on his website as he directs on the set of Code Z.
He has also expressed his thoughts on losing his Uncle Michael and how hard it has been to do this without him but, that he knows that his Uncle Michael is looking down and smiling at the work he has done. Taj has asked for fans to support Code Z: The Series, he released this statement on his website:
"Code Z: The Series is dedicated to the memory of my uncle Michael, I couldn't pick a better date to "officially launch my directing career". My uncle was both my inspiration for directing and my partner in crime when it came to studying movies and learning about filmmaking. It's been really hard continuing this dream without him. Not only do I want Code Z: The Series to succeed for professional reasons, but I know my uncle is watching over me right now and I want to make him proud. I could really use everyone's help in spreading the news about Code Z: The Series. My uncle used to light up when we talked about making films together, it was such a passion of his. I know come Aug the 29th, with your help, he will be smiling down at me."

Halloween Fun at College
The best Halloween experience was when I was in college and the school had an event where they had a costume party held for young children. It was a safe way the college gave back to the community and the children had a lot of fun. A few college students including myself had to help support the event by dressing up as well, giving out candy, and helping with the different areas for the children to play at. The fun part for me was seeing my friends dressed up in these ridiculous outfits. I went as "Poison Ivy" from the Batman Movie. We had so much fun laughing at each other that the time seem to fly by pretty quickly and the event was over way too fast. It was fun and I really enjoyed myself. It is always fun to give back to others and have a good time doing it. :) -Amber

Homemade Halloween
My favorite Halloween experience was going trick or treating in my neighborhood. We had a lot of elderly ladies that would bake homemade goods and decorate their homes for Halloween. It was like a yearly competition as to who's house was the most decorated and the most fun. The ladies would also dress up and it was a lot of fun going from house to house. They always did something different every year. So, it made it fun and interesting. I never really remember being scared but, just having a lot of fun with my friends. -Lena
Halloween Love
I met my first boyfriend on Halloween night. It was the area's Halloween carnival and I was all dressed up in my outfit and looking forward to the free food, candy, and games. If you were a certain age, you did not have to pay. I went up to get a candy apple and some popcorn for my little sister. When I started to head back to her, these three boys came running past me, I fell, and popcorn went one way, candy apple in another, and I landed in the mud. I was so embarrassed until I heard this voice ask me if I was okay, I looked up and it was this boy I had had a crush on for years. His smile and helping hand to help me off of the ground was so sweet and kind. We are no longer together as a couple but, I think about that night, every time the carnival comes around and it makes me smile. -Tammi
A Turkey for Halloween
Halloween is my favorite time of the year because we have a carnival as well, and I do face painting for the children and adults. To see so many cute outfits and then to help them complete their outfits with face painting is a lot of fun. The children seem to come back every year with an idea from last years face painting. The food at the carnival smells so good and there is always a prize drawn at the end and who ever wins gets to take home a frozen Turkey to have for their Thanksgiving meal. I have not won yet but, I am hoping this year, will be my year.-Kathy
True Meaning Of Halloween
You know you hear a lot of people say a lot of negative things about Halloween but, Halloween started out to be a Christian Holiday. A day for those who were here on earth to remember those who had gone on before, something like a memorial day. At our church, that is exactly what we do, we remember those special individuals in our lives by placing fall arrangements on the graves, having a big church dinner and at the end we give out big bags of candy to the little ones, it is not about who you can scare the most but, remembering those who have gone on before us in a special way.

Halloween Adventure
A group of friends and I went to a haunted house once. It really was not scary for me at all, just a bunch of people jumping out at you, trying to scare you. We basically laughed all the way through, don't get me wrong we had a good time just in a different way. One of my friends was laughing so hard that she fell and knocked into another one of my friends, who fell into one of the workers dressed up that night. He too forgot to be scary and just started laughing. It was an adventure and crazy but, in a funny, not so spooky kind of way. -Tiffany
